These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of MyMintSite, including any preview website we build for your business, our marketing site at mymintsite.com, and the hosted website and dashboard we provide to paying customers (together, the “Service”). By viewing a preview, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
MyMintSite builds and hosts websites for local small businesses. In some cases, we build a sample website for a business using information gathered from public sources (Google Maps listings, publicly available reviews, and similar) before that business has any relationship with us, and we email the business owner a link to view it. Building or sending you a preview is not an offer of contract and creates no payment obligation. A binding agreement under these Terms only begins once you complete a purchase through our checkout.
You must be at least 18 years old, and have the authority to bind the business you represent, to purchase or manage the Service. The Service is intended for business owners and operators and is not directed at children. No one under the age of 13 may use the Service or submit information through it, and we do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account.
A customer account is created when you complete a purchase. We send a one-click login link to the email address used at checkout rather than a traditional password. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.
Pricing is shown to you at checkout. As of this writing: Base is a $29 one-time setup fee plus $20/month for hosting; Premium is a $34 one-time setup fee plus $20/month and includes a custom domain. Both plans include a 30-day free trial of the monthly fee — the one-time setup fee is charged immediately at checkout and is not part of the trial. Existing Base customers can add a custom domain later for a flat $5 one-time fee with no change to the monthly price.
Subscriptions are billed automatically through Stripe until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard's billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@hello.mymintsite.com.
When your subscription ends, your site is taken down and your subdomain or custom domain stops serving your live website. We may retain your account and site content for a reasonable period afterward in case you resubscribe, and otherwise in line with our Privacy Policy.
If you use a custom domain, you register and own that domain through your own registrar (such as Namecheap or GoDaddy) — we never take ownership of it. We help you point it at our hosting during onboarding. You can add, change, or remove a custom domain from your dashboard at any time.
Content you add or edit through your dashboard — menu items, photos, hours, and similar — is yours. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, and for making sure it's accurate and lawful. We may remove content that is unlawful, infringing, or violates these Terms.
Our website templates, code, and design are our intellectual property. While you are an active paying customer, we license you the use of your specific website (our template combined with your content) as part of the Service. This license ends when your subscription ends.
You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive, and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other customers' sites or data.
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a website will produce any particular business outcome (such as more customers or revenue), or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyMintSite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if payment fails and is not resolved within a reasonable time. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time as described above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
